The beautiful season of Frédéric Caton proves, if it was still needed, that he is one of the most French singing bass in demand; after having sung the roles of Herod (L'Enfance du Christ) on tour in the Czech Republic, the Marquis de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites) at the Opera Grand Avignon, Frère Laurent (Roméo et Juliette) at the Opéra de Nice, he embodies now Nourabad (Les Pêcheurs de Perles) at the Opéra de Reims, after having sung it a few days ago at the Opéra de Limoges.
He will then fly to Canada, to sing Arkel (Pelléas et Mélisande by Debussy) at the Classica Festival in Montreal and the Festival de Québec.
His 2018/2019 season promises to be just as rich, since Frédéric Caton will be heard successively in the Second Philistine (Samson et Dalila) at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, L'Ombre de Virgile and Le Vieillard (Dante by Benjamin Godard) at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne and La Mère (Les Sept Pêchés Capitaux by Kurt Weill) at the Opéra de Tours, without forgetting many concerts, including a series of Requiem by Mozart with the Orchestre de Cannes, then the Orchestre national de Lorraine.
