Ali Baba

From April 26^th, François ROUGIER re-plays the Cassim role in Ali Baba of Charles LECOCQ at Opera de Rouen Normandie. This Comic opera in 3 acts is based on the book of the tale about Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

The musical direction will be ensured by Jean-Pierre HAECK and staging by Arnaud MEUNIER, assisted by Elsa IMBERT. This artwork has been produced for the first time in 2014 by the Opéra Comique, it is here proposed again as a coproduction between the Opéra de Rouen Normandie and the Palazzetto Bru Zane.

At the end of this production of Ali Baba, François ROUGIER will fly to the Opera de Limoges where he will perform the role of Coelio in Les Caprices de Marianne, comic opera in two acts by Henri Sauget, on May 10^th and 12^nd. To finish the month of May, he will sing a  French cantate program  on May 27^th at the Abbatiale Saint-Saulve de Montreuil-sur-Mer. He will also continue his projects in collaboration with the Compagnie Manque pas d'Airs. In 2017, from March to July, he will play at the Opéra Bastille, as Remendado in Carmen.
