Aline Martin is back to Les Contes d'Hoffmann

at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne

If she had already successfully performed the role of La Mère in several Italian theaters (Piacenza, Modena and Reggia Emilia), this is a French premiere for mezzo Aline Martin (member of the Opera Studio "Les Jeunes Voix du Rhin" in 2005, then soloist of CNIPAL in 2006-07), who will sing La Mère and La Voix, at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne this time, from November 7 to 12.

After her recent engagements in the role of Sélysette (Dukas' Ariane and Barbe-Bleue) at the Opéra national du Rhin, the Second Lady (Mozart's Die Zauberflöte) and the solo mezzo part of Mahler's 3rd symphony at the Opéra national de Paris, we can also find her this season 2017/2018 at the Opera Grand Avignon in the role of Annina (La Traviata) and in the alto solo part of the Litanies de venerabili altaris sacramento and Thamos, King of Egypt    (Mozart) with the choir Accentus and Insula Orchestra, at the Seine Musicale of Boulogne-Billancourt, under the baton of Laurence Equilbey.
