August's Festivals

of our artists

During the month of August, our artists continue their tour of Festivals.

At the Festival de Chaillol, Amel Brahim-Djelloul will sing with the the ensemble C Barré a chamber music program with a resolutely Iberian inspiration, with the complicity of four plucked instrumentalists of the ensemble (mandolin, harp, guitar and cymbalum). Works of De Falla, García Lorca, Ohana, Ibarrondo (July 31st 2017 at 21:00 - Remolon Church of Serre-Ponçon and on the August 1st 2017 at 21:00 - Church of the Hamlet of St Michel, Chaillol). This program will then be resumed on August 31, 2017 at 18:30 at the Abbaye de Silvacane in La Roque-d'Anthéron as part of the Lubéron Quartet Festival (Festival de quatuors du Lubéron).

But before that, Amel Brahim-Djelloul will remain in the Alps, this time at the Music and Heritage Festival (Festival Musique et Patrimoine), where she will find the Ensemble Amedyez and the program Souvenirs of Al Andalus (August 8th 2017 at 21:00 - Saint Nicolas' Church Of Véroce, Saint-Gervais-les-Bains). Not far from there, this time in the framework of the Baroque Festival of Tarentaise (Festival Baroque de Tarentaise), Jean-François Novelli will sing with Sébastien Brossard's Ensemble, the Telemann's Cantatas of (August 7th 2017 at 21:00 - Saint Sigismond's Church, Champagny-en -Vanoise and on August 8th 2017 at 21:00 - Church of Saint-Grat, Conflans).

More to the West, Renaud Delaigue will sing at La Chabotterie (Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon) in André Campra's L'Europe Galante with the Simphonie du Marais (August 8th 2017 at 21:00).  Still in the Vendée, but this time in Thiré, as part of the Festival Dans les jardins  of William Christie, Eva Zaïcik will give the program An English garden, with the Jardin des Voix of the Arts Florissants (August 19th and 20th 2017 at 20:30).

In Charente-Maritime, Catherine Trottmann will sing on August 9th 2017 at 21:30 in Fouras as part of the Festival Symphonie d'été. A musical journey with the tenor Diego Silva, the pianist François Lambret and the cellist Caroline Glory, mixed with the readings of poems chosen and read by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor.

In Sarthe, the Sablé's Festival will host three artists of the agency. First, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro will return to the title role in Bodin de Boismortier's Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse with the Concert Spirituel on August 22nd 2017 at 19:30. The next day, Anna Reinhold will give the program Great oriental heroins, with its Caravaggio's ensemble, co-founded by Camille Delaforge (August 23rd 2017 at 17:00). Finally, on August 26th 2017 at 17:00, with always the same oriental theme, Amel Brahim-Djelloul will travel the organ of the Sultan with L'Achéron.

In Haute-Loire, at the Festival de La Chaise-Dieu, Emmanuelle de Negri will sing the title-role in Antonio Caldara's Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo with the Banquet Celeste (August 18th 2017 at 21:00).
In the Périgord, two of our tenors are invited to the Festival Sinfonia en Périgord. First, Jean-François Novelli with Handel's Messiah with the Nouveaux Caractères and Accentus, on  August 26th 2017 at 21:00 (Parc Gamenson, Périgueux). Then, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro will once again be Don Quixote in Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse with the Concert Spirituel on september 2nd 2017 at 21:00 (Théâtre l’odyssée, Périgueux).

Overseas Channel, Eva Zaïcik and Emiliano Gonzalez Toro will sing in Claudio Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine with Pygmalion as part of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall (London) on July 31st 2017 at 19:30. In Germany, at Munich, Sara Gouzy will sing the role of Flaminia in Haydn's Il Mondo della luna from August 24th 2017 to September 17th 2017. In Bremen, Catherine Trottmann will return to the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Musikfest Bremen with the Cercle de l'Harmonie. In Switzerland, Eva Zaïcik will find another tenor of the agency and will sing with Jean-François Novelli and the Talens Lyriques in Charpentier's La Descente d'Orphée aux Enfers on September 1st 2017 at 19:00 at Basel (Peterskirche).

And the other side of the Atlantic is not outdone, since Magali Simard-Galdès will sing the role of the 1st girl-flower in Parsifal on August 6th 2017 at 17:00 as part of the Festival de Lanaudière. She will be performing at the Festival "Concerts Ahuntsic en Fugue" on August 25th 2017 at 20:00 (Montréal).

Wherever you are, it is likely that one of our artists is within earshot in this month of August. All you have to do is to listen!
