Beach, peaks and festivals

with our artists!

Among the major summer festivals rooted in the French musical landscape, the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier, the Violon sur le sable de Royan and the Festival Berlioz de la Côte Saint-André hold prominent positions and it is quite naturally that our artists will be meeting there this summer.
In Montpellier first of all, tenors François Rougier and Kaëlig Boché will participate in a real event, monumental in every respect: indeed the festival gives us the opportunity to hear Vincent d'Indy's opera Fervaal, monumental by its plethoric number of soloists, the Nordic epic which forms its plot and its musical style marked by Wagnérism; a masterpiece to be discovered absolutely !
We will meet François Rougier at La Côte Saint-André, this time with mezzo Isabelle Druet (magnificent Carmen a few weeks ago at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne) and the baritone Thomas Dolié (who will make his debut next season at Milan's Teatro alla Scala), who will give us all a chance to hear Berlioz's La Prise de Troie, under the direction of conductor François-Xavier Roth.
Before that, Thomas Dolié will have delighted us with Brahms' Schöne Maguelone, given at the Saoû chante Mozart festival with pianist Anne Le Bozec, then with a recital "Histoires Naturelles" at the Musicales de Normandie, alongside pianist Susan Manoff.
Isabelle Druet will not be left out, with her participation, as will tenor Kevin Amiel, in the festivals Le Violon sur le sable and Le Violon sur la ville de Royan, and concerts with the ensemble Vesontio conducted by Michaël Parisot, around the sacred Italian music of the 16th century.
Find all the dates and information about these concerts in the general agenda of our artists, at the bottom of this newsletter!
