Brenda Poupard, welcome!

The mezzo soprano joins our artists!

Recently awarded a Master's degree in singing from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), mezzo soprano Brenda Poupard was soon noticed, both for her stage presence and her flexible voice guided by a solid singing technique.
As proof, her 2019/2020 season already sees her give a series of French melody recitals in Japan with pianist Jean-Michel Kim, sing the role of the Nymph Iris (Coronis by S. Durón) with Vincent Dumestre's Le Poème Harmonique at the Théâtre de Caen, but also at the Opéras de Lille, Limoges, Rouen and Amiens, or participate with the same ensemble in the CD recording of Cadmus and Hermione by J-B Lully, as L'Amour and Palès.
A member of the 2019 class of the Academy of Singing of the Aix-en-Provence International Festival, she has also performed in concert with the Poème Harmonique, the ensemble La Tempête, the Yako Quartet, but also as Sesto (Handel's Giulio Cesare) and Lisetta (Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna) in two co-productions by the CNSMDP and the Philharmonie de Paris.
