Cadmus et Hermione of 1673 was the first tragédie lyrique. Amongst Lully’s achievements in the work was the creation of musical recitative suited to the French language. He and the author of the libretto, Quinault, succeeded in forging unity out of considerable diversity, with poetry and music, recitative, song and dance, verisimilitude and the spectacular, human emotions and the supernatural, the serious and the comic, the noble and the burlesque. Cadmus is the reference work, the work that laid the foundations for French opera.
Already created in 2008 in scenic version, Le Poème Harmonique proposes a new version, in a concert format, and with a new distribution for Versailles' event, coupled with a recording for the discographic label Château de Versailles Spectacles.
In the role of Cadmus, we can heard baritone Thomas Dolié. On his side, Kaëlig Boché will be the second African and Echion and Brenda Poupard will sing roles of Love, Palès and Juno.
Quickly crowned with a "Victoire de la Musique Classique" in the "Révélation artiste lyrique 2008" category, his career has already led him to perform, among others, on the stages of the Opéra national de Paris and the Oper Köln, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Zurich Opera, the Opéra national de Lyon, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie in Bremen, the Opéra national de Bordeaux, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie and the Opéra Comique and in most French theatres.

By his side, Kaëlig Boché is quickly recognized as one of the most promising tenors of the next generation.
He already sang with the Orchestre régional de Normandie, the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire (conductor Pascal Rophé), the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne, the ensemble Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu; on stage, he has also sang at the Opéra de Dijon or at the Festival Radio France de Montpellier, among others.

Durón) with "Le Poème Harmonique" at the Théâtre de Caen, but also at the Opéras de Lille, Limoges, Rouen and Amiens.
She has recently been heard in the roles of Sesto (Handel's Giulio Cesare) and Lisetta (Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna) in two co-productions of the CNSMDP and the Philharmonie de Paris, or in the title role of Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortilèges at the Théâtre d'Herblay; she has also performed with Vincent Dumestre's "Le Poème Harmonique" in various programs (Danza !, Leçons de Ténèbres by Couperin), or with the ensemble La Tempête under the direction of Simon-Pierre Bestion (Larmes de Résurrection in Biarritz and Perm (Russia)) and participated in the World Premiere of Isabelle Fraisse's 5th Quartet and Voice, with the Yako Quartet and countertenor Paul-Antoine Bénos, at the Mozart-en-Loire Festival.
