Carmen is « opéra comique » (a french genre opera) composed in 1875 by Bizet and it is currently the most played opera in the world.
Jean-François Novelli will perform the Remendado, the smuggler who will try to enlist Carmen for one of his business and Sévag Tachdjian will be Zuniga, the lieutenant responsible for Carmen's arrest. The Symphonic Orchestra of Lyon Villeurbanne (which will become in june the Symphonic Orchestra of Rhône Alpes Auvergne) will play under Laurent Pillot 's baton.
Future dates : March 12th in L'Isle d'Abeau, March 20th in Thisy les Bourgs and April 3rd in Caluire.
