After conquering the audience in Aix during her recital at the Festival de Pâques 2018, Catherine Trottmann is back this year accompanied by the pianist Karolos Zouganelis. She designed a program around the family, for families, from works from French or Italian operatic repertoire, musicals or hits.
Before this recital, 4 school interventions were organized in classes where Catherine Trottmann was keen to introduce children to classical music and her career as a lyrical singer, also giving them opportunity to sing and discover the scene by participating in the concert.

Mid-May, it is alongside the Palais Royal that we can hear her in a program "Inspirations italiennes" around Mozart and Handel in Paris.

In June, it is again in Paris that we will be able to hear her in the role of Diane in Iphigénie en Tauride at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
Named in the category « Lyrical revelation » of the Victoires de la Musique 2017 and « Laureate HSBC 2017 Aix Festival », the young mezzo-soprano Catherine Trottmann was quickly offered some of the most iconic roles in the repertoire.
Recent successes include Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Opéra national du Rhin, Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées and at the Edinburgh Internation Festival, Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette) at the Opéra de Nice, Siebel (Faust) at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne, or Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Opéra de Lausanne.
