Catherine Trottmann is Siebel

at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne

The plethoric season of Catherine Trottmann continues in the coming days at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne, with her debut as Siebel (Faust by Gounod), under the directions of Julien Ostini (musical) and David Reiland (staging).

After Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Opéra national du Rhin, Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette) at the Opéra de Nice, we can hear her in a new leading role, in Faust, masterpiece of Charles Gounod.

Later this summer, we will also have three great opportunities to come and listen to her, in very different repertoires and settings: she will once again put on Rosina's clothes in the staging of Laurent Pelly, this time at the Edinburgh Festival, will sing Berlioz's sumptuous Nuits d'été alongside the Orchestre régional de Normandie and give a recital with pianist Karolos Zouganelis at the Imperial Annecy Festival.

The season 2018/2019 will then see Catherine Trottmann play the roles of Diane and the 2nd Priestess (Iphigénie en Tauride) at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, take over the role of Flora in this same house, as well as at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, or give a series of New Year's concerts with the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire.

The career of the one who was last year named in the category "Revelation lyric artist" at the Victoires de la Musique Classique and "HSBC Laureate of the festival of Aix", continues therefore under beautiful auspices!
