300 years later...

In Versailles and Lyon

Conductor Raphaël Pichon and his Ensemble Pygmalion celebrate "Louis 14th funerals" in Royal Chapel in Versailles. Marc Mauillon takes part in this concert tonight.

Three hunderds years ago another great historic symbol died : William Shakespeare. To commemorate this, let's go to the Auditorium in Lyon where Catherine Trottmann (see article) is invited to sing Mendelshonn's Songe d'une nuit d'Eté, inspired by Shakespeare. She will then on Sunday 8th give a recital with soprano Norma Nahoun, accompanied by pianist Julien Quentin, and composed by vocal pieces also inspired by the famous writer.
