Soprano Emmanuelle de Negri will be performing at the Victoria Hall in Geneva on May 7, as part of the Sunday Concerts 2017.
She will be accompanied by the Cappella Mediterranea ensemble and the Chamber Choir of Namur, to interpret the role of La Natura Humana in Il diluvio universale by Michelangelo Falvetti.
The conductor Leonardo García Alarcón and his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea re-created this masterpiece at the Ambronay Festival in 2010 and propose us to continue this re-discovery, during a tour that will lead them, after Geneva, in Lyon and Potsdam.
After singing La Musica (Monteverdi's L'Orfeo) at the Opera de Dijon, then alongside William Christie and Les Arts Florissants during a European tour with Handel's Messiah and Raphael Pichon and his ensemble Pygmalion with Rameau's Zoroastre in Versailles and Vienna (Austria), Emmanuelle de Negri ends her 2016/2017 season with Motets by Delalande in Versailles and Rouen with the Poème Harmonique, a "Duparc" recital at the Aix-en-Provence Festival and appearances with Les Arts Florissants, the Jeune Orchestre de l'Abbaye aux Dames, or the Banquet Céleste, during the summer.
