Since the 4th edition of the Jardin des Voix, the privileged link between soprano Emmanuelle de Negri and Les Arts Florissants continues to strengthen.
We could hear her in Purcell's The Fairy Queen, Dido & Aeneas and Indian Queen, in Heandel's Susanna, as Aréthuze in Actéon, Pygmalion (under stage direction of Trisha Brown), in Grands Motets programs or in Hippolyte et Aricie with Les Arts Florissants in Glyndebourne and Avignon festivals. She also embodied the role of Sangaride in the revival of the mythical production of Lully's Atys, at the Theater an der Wien, the Opéra-Comique and in New-York and also in the roles of La Raison and Lucile in Campras's Les Fêtes Vénitiennes at the Opéra Comique, at the Théâtre de Caen and at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse.
This is a new tour that will start for Emmanuelle de Negri on December 9, 2017 with Les Arts Florissants and William Chritie. 30 years after the recording of this Monteverdi's Selva Morale e Spirituale by the young Arts Florissants, William Christie closes the year of celebration Monteverdi by a return to the origins of his passion: the drama and the sacred merged into masterpieces ... The Selva Morale e Spirituale (literally Moral and Spiritual Forest) is a splendid collection of sacred works of Monteverdi published in 1640, a veritable anthology of masterpieces, of the level of the famous Vespers published in 1610.
This new tour will lead to Barbican Centre at Londres, to Berlin Philharmonie, to the Chapelle royale de Versailles and to the Philharmonie de Paris.
Later during the 2017/2018 season, it should be noted that in May 2018, Emmanuelle de Negri will make her debuts at the Opéra national de Paris as Nella (Gianni Schicchi). Among her other projects this season, we can hear Emmanuelle de Negri as Almirena (Rinaldo) on a French tour with the CoOpérative, Maddalena (Caldara's Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo) and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the ensemble Le Banquet Céleste in Rennes and Ancona, or in the program Son of England with the Poème Harmonique in Krakow.
