François Rougier travels with Le Domino Noir

from Liège to Paris

Tenor François Rougier will be appearing in the next few weeks in the Daniel-François-Esprit Auber's Domino Noir, a work which, created in 1837 at the Opéra-Comique, was a great success, to the point of appearing in 9th position of the most played works on this stage.

This new production will first be given to the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, before being played again on the stage of its creation, at the Théâtre national de l'Opera-Comique, by a splendid distribution of French singers accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, under the baton of Patrick Davin.

François Rougier will then continue his season with Verdi's Nabucco at the Opéra de Lille, before concocting us a highly Parisian 18/19's season, since he will participate in no less than three productions of the Opéra national de Paris, namely : Les  Huguenots by Meyerbeer (role of Cossé), La Traviata (role of Gastone) and Carmen (role of Remendado).
