After a season marked by his debut at the Opéra national de Paris in the role of Remendado (Carmen) - production that will be replayed in April/May - the tenor François Rougier has interpreted this beginning of the season the role of Cossé in Les Huguenots (Meyerbeer) before taking on the role of Gastone in La Traviata this month.
For these performances in December, musical direction will be ensured by Karel Mark Chichon. On the distribution side, François Rougier will notably sing alongside soprano Ermonela Jaho - with whom he already shared the Bastille scene for Les Huguenots - who will perform Violetta. Alfredo will be played by Charles Castronovo and staging is ensured by Benoît Jacquot,
Still in Paris, but this time at the Opéra-Comique, he plays the role of Hector de Boispréau (Madame Favart, Offenbach). He is also involved in the recreation of Raoul de Barbe-Bleue by Grétry (Vergi role), at the Trondheim Historical Theater in Norway and gives again - after Grenoble last season - the reading recital "Intimate Voice 14-18", alongside Alexandra Lacroix and Agnès Rouquette, at the Opéra de Limoges. He also continues this season his collaboration with the MPDA - Alexandra Lacroix compagny for the creation of a participatory work in situ, accompanying the transformation of the railway site from Chapelle Charbon to Porte de la Chapelle in Paris.
