On Thursday 17 May 2018 will be the Première of Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) at the Opéra de Paris with two artists of RSB artists.
First of all, soprano Emmanuelle de Negri who will make her debuts at the Opéra de Paris and will sing the role of Nella.
This season, she could be heard as Almirena (Rinaldo) on French tour with CoOpérative, as Maddalena (Caldara's Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo) and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the Le Banquet Céleste in Rennes, Dortmund and Ancona, as well as an European tour with les Arts Florissants, with Monteverdi's Selva Morale e spirituale.
Her recent projects include the role of La Musica (L'Orfeo) at the Opéra de Dijon, the role of La Natura humana (Falvetti's Il Diluvio Universale) in Geneva, Lyon and Potsdam with Cappella Mediterranea (Leonardo García Alarcón), or the role of Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) on French tour with the CoOpérative.
Our other artist in Gianni Schicchi is now a regular on the stages of the Opéra de Paris ; mezzo soprano Isabelle Druet who will sing the role of La Ciesca. We have already heard her recently at the Opéra de Paris, in the roles of Annina (La Traviata) and Tisbe (Cenerentola). This season, Isabelle Druet sings Alma Mahler's Lieder with the Orchestre Victor Hugo Franche-Comté at La Folle journée de Nantes and in Besançon, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater in Romania and Belgium as well as the programm « Danza » on a US tour with Le Poème Harmonique under the direction of Vincent Dumestre, Zaïde (L'Europe galante) at Versailles with Les Nouveaux Caractères under the baton of Sébastien d'Hérin, gives recitals at Musée de l'armée in Paris, at Le Printemps des Arts de Monte Carlo and at the Internationales Musikfestival Heidelberger Frühling .
In the next weeks, she will sing again the program Au pays où se fait la guerre at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, and Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été with the Orchestre national de Lyon at Les Nuits de Fourvière.
Our two French baritones will also sing at the Opéra de Paris during the end of this season. We spoke about it recently, after being acclaimed a few days ago in Bremen for his first Golaud (Pelléas et Mélisande), baritone Thomas Dolié will sing in June the role of Ramiro (Ravel's L'Heure espagnole - coupled with Gianni Schicchi) for his debut at the Opéra de Paris, from 4 to 17 June 2018.
Accustomed to this stage, Florian Sempey will come back again to Donizetti - after his triumph in the role of Enrico (Lucia di Lamermoor) at the Opéra de Bordeaux - for his debuts in Malatesta (Don Pasquale), from 9 June to 12 July 2018.
