Next month, Florian Sempey will make his debuts at the Royal Opera House in London, as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini). The staging will be ensured by Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier and the musical direction by Henrik Nánási. On this occasion, he will be alongside Javier Camarena in the Count Almaviva, Daniela Mack in Rosina's role and Carlo Lepore, who will perform Don Basilio.
On november, Florian Sempey will get back to the Opéra national de Bordeaux in Gluck's Armide. Then, he will be in Hamburg (Germany) to perform the "Poème de l'amour et de la mer" (Chausson) before returning to Bordeaux, at the Auditorium this time, to interpret Ramiro, in L'Heure espagnole (Ravel). In early 2017, he will Papageno in die Zauberflöte at the Opéra Bastille and Claudio in Berlioz's Béatrice et Bénédict at the Palais Garnier. Thereafter, he will be on the stage of the Opéra de Limoges in La Cenerentola (Rossini), then in Lille and Paris for Les pêcheurs de perles (Bizet). Finally, he will perform the bass solo part in Beethoven's 9th Symphony in Nantes on june.
