For the end of the season, Il Caravaggio ensemble will be on stage for 2 concerts at the Festival Embaroquement Immediat, near Valenciennes (France) and then in Geneva (Switzerland) for the Agapé Festival.
Founded by mezzo-soprano Anna Reinhold and harpsichordist Camille Delaforge (photo), Il Caravaggio was originally dedicated to 17th century Italian music. The incarnation, the gushing life, the intense affectivity, the chiaroscuro and this astonishing faculty of exploring the human soul, so much admired by the painter, decided them to found a musical ensemble dedicated to baroque theatricality and spirituality.
On May 25th, the ensemble will be at the Festival Embaroquement Immediat with the program "Madonna della Grazia". Bass-baritone Guilhem Worms (named Revelation Lyric Artist at Victoires de la Musique this year), lutenist Benjamin Narvey and Ronald Martin Alonso at the viola da gamba will take part in the concert.

A week later, on June 1st, the Agapé Festival will host Il Caravaggio with soprano Amel Brahim-Djelloul (photo) in a program built around Les Leçons de Ténèbres by Delalande, "Conversations Sacrées" .

In addition to these two upcoming concerts, mezzo-soprano Anna Reinhold will be in Colmar alongside Marc Coppey, artistic director of Les Musicales de Colmar festival. She will perform H. Berlioz's Nuits d'Eté on May 11 and a Bach cantata (Cantate BWV 170) for the closing concert on May 12.
In Aix-les-bains, the opening concert of the first edition of the festival Guitare en Alpes, created by the classical guitarist Jérémy Jouve with an international career, is being prepared. For this first concert, he chose to be on stage with soprano Amel Brahim-Djelloul and pianist Nicolas Jouve. They will perform the Concerto d'Aranjuez in a guitar-piano version, Spanish melodies by J. Rodrigo for guitar and soprano, and two cycles by H. Collet and J. Guridi from the disc "Populaires" (Amel Brahim-Djelloul and Nicolas Jouve).
