Isabelle Druet invites us to la Danza!

with the Poème Harmonique

Isabelle Druet is one of the most appreciated mezzo-sopranos of her generation and her ease of moving from one style and time to another will be summoned again this season 2017/2018.

In fact, before going back to the Opéra national de Paris to perform Annina (La Traviata) and La Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi), or to sing Thierry Escaich's Visions nocturnes at the Maison de Radio France, she will be touring the USA with Vincent Dumestre's Poème Harmonique, to interpret the program "Danza", around the Spanish music played in France in the 17th century.

On her return, Isabelle Druet will be at the Opéra royal de Versailles to perform André Campra's L'Europe galante with Sébastien d'Hérin's Les Nouveaux Caractères and in an Offenbach recital at the Musée de l'Armée de Paris, as well as    in concert alongside Amel Brahim-Djelloul and Florian Sempey, at the Hôtel national des Invalides.

Also coming in the next days, the release of Monteverdi's DVD "Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in patria", recorded at the beginning of 2017 with the Concert d'Astrée by Emmanuelle Haïm, during the performances of the Théâtre des Champs Elysées.
