Initially scheduled to take place at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the world premiere of "Il fait novembre en mon âme", symphonic poem No. 7 by poet and composer Bechara El-Khoury, will finally be performed from the Philharmonie de Paris, during a concert without an audience but visible from the Philharmonie Live and Arte.tv websites and later on France Musique website and radio.
For this creation, a tribute to the victims of the attacks of 13 November 2015 at the Bataclan, mezzo-soprano Isabelle Druet and the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, under the direction of the conductor Pierre Bleuse, will be associated with the performance.
This is a rare opportunity to hear the mezzo-soprano, who in recent months has had her engagements as Béatrice (Berlioz's Béatrice et Bénédict) at the Cologne Opera and her expected debuts as Dido (Les Troyens à Carthage at the Berlioz Festival on the Côte Saint-André) cancelled, following government measures linked to the health crisis.
Her projects for the 2020/2021 season include the roles of Marie (L'Enfance du Christ) with the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire and of Concepción (L'Heure Espagnole) with Les Siècles led by François-Xavier Roth, as well as concerts with, among others, Les Siècles, the Orchestre Victor-Hugo Franche-Comté, and the Poème Harmonique.
