Kaëlig Boché sings le Roi David

with the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire

"Classic Revelation" of 2017 by ADAMI, the young tenor Kaëlig Boché will sing in the coming days the solo tenor part of Artur Honegger's Le Roi David, a vast biblical fresco that tells the story of the fate of shepherd David, poet and musician then warrior, winner of Goliath and who will become King of Israel.
To this end, he will be accompanied by the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire conducted by conductor Pascal Rophé, in Angers and then Nantes.
Continuing his "biblical" year-end, he will perform Schubert's Stabat Mater with the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne in early January, before continuing his season with a concert at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord with the winners of the ADAMI, Britten's Illuminations with the Orchestre régional de Normandie and his debut at the Opéra de Dijon in the role of the Dancaïre (Carmen).
A native of Brittany, tenor Kaëlig Boché discovered singing when he was a child thanks to the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale de Rennes, under the direction of Jean Ruault. He began his vocal training at the Conservatoires de Région de Rennes (with Martine Surais), then in Paris, at the Département Supérieur pour Jeune Chanteur founded by Laurence Equilbey. He is now pursuing his Master's studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, in the class of Elène Golgevit.
In addition, he was awarded, together with pianist Jeanne Vallée, the Gabriel Fauré - Deodat de Séverac prize at the 2017 Toulouse International Competition of French Melodies, then in 2018 the Second Opera Prize at the Marseille International Singing Competition and the Mâcon International Singing Competition (as well as the Prix des lycéens).
