Kaëlig Boché sings Roderigo

At the Opéra de Saint-Etienne

On 11 June, Kaëlig Boché will sing the role of Roderigo in Otello at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne, in the company of tenors Nikolai Schukoff, Sébastien Droy and soprano Gabrielle Philiponet. An additional role for this winner of numerous competitions (Toulouse 2017, Marseille 2018, Mâcon 2019) and "Classical Revelation 2017" of the ADAMI.

His young career has already led him to play many roles.

He was The Innkeeper (Der Traumgörge) at the Nancy and Dijon Operas, the Teapot, the Little Old Man and the Tree Frog (L'Enfant et les sortilèges) at the National Opera of Lyon and at the Muscat Opera (Oman).

He also sang Le Dancaïre (Carmen) at the Dijon Opera and Frère Massée (Saint François d'Assise) at the Messiaen Festival, Don Riccardo (Ernani) with the Lyon National Opera Orchestra, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, Edwige (Fervaal by Vincent d'Indy) at the Festival Radio France de Montpellier and the Narrator (L'Enfance du Christ) with the Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle-Aquitaine. All these performances make him a tenor to watch among the new generation!

  • Remendado (Carmen) at the Opéra de Massy ;

  • Quipasseparla (Le Voyage dans la Lune) at the Opéra de Marseille, then at the Opéras de

Nice, Limoges, Vichy, Clermont-Ferrand and Compiègne ;

  • First armoured man (Die Zauberflöte) at the Opéra de Rouen ;

  • Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) at the Festival des Symphonies d’Automne in Mâcon ;

  • L’Isola d’Alcina de Gazzaniga with the ensemble L’Arte del mundo.
