Laurent Pillot takes us to Brodway!

with the Orchestre Symphonique Rhône-Alpes Auvergne

The french conductor Laurent Pillot continues his work of dissemination to the wider public of the symphonic and operatic repertoire, with the Orchestre Symphonique Rhône-Alpes Auvergne (OSYRA) , of which he is musical director since 1986.

And no doubt that the public will particularly appreciate the program of the Great American Musicals on 28 October 2017 at Mornant,  on 25 march 2018 at the  Théâtre du Vellein (Villefontaine) and  on 7 avril 2018 at the Radiant (Caluire-et-Cuire).

Under the baton of Laurent Pillot, the OSYRA will take over the most famous tunes from West Side Story, but also from My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Singin' in the rain, An American in Paris and The Wizard of Oz. These unforgettable sequences will be played by more than 70 musicians and accompanied by excerpts of these films on giant screen.

When he does not put Broadway in the spotlight, Laurent Pillot  returns to the Opera and crosses borders. He will conduct this season Janacek's The  Cunning Little Vixen in Prague with the Czech Radio Orchestra, Massenet's Cherubin in Baltimore and Verdi's Falstaff with the European Opera Center.
