The end of the season of soprano Hélène Carpentier, first prize-winner of the Concours Voix Nouvelles 2018, will be rich.
First of all, she will return to The Opera Rouen Normandie on the 3 nd 4 May 2019, for the Mozart Requiem with the Orchestra of the Opera Rouen Normandie under the baton of Laurence Equilbey.
Hélène will not miss the Opera Rouen Normandie for a long time, as she will return there on 13 June for the rare Clemence Grandval's Mass which will be conducted by Christophe Grapperon. This program will be executed also on the 16 June at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord (where she has already sung on January for the Adami's Revelation concert).
But before that, Hélène Carpentier will sing Micaëlla in Carmen, star of Circus according to G. Bizet. This production was created last February at ... Opera Rouen Normandie !
In June, she will meet again Laurence Equilbey and Mozart's Requiem with Insula Orchestra. This new project proposes to forget the completed versions of Mozart's Requiem by his student Süssmayr or others, and to give the unfinished work as written by the composer just before his death. Circus artist Yoann Bourgeois will try to explore the silences of the unfinished score. Eight acrobat dancers on the stage will make resonate that particular gap left by Mozart's death, between suspension and disappearance. The performancess will be presented in June during the Nuits of Fourvière in Lyon and at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt. In addition to this stage project, Hélène Carpentier will sing this Requiem in a concert version, again with Insula Otrchestra in July in Uzès ( the 17th of July 2019) and Taillades (the 18th of July).
