On 2 and 4 April, 2017, the Opera Grand Avignon will give, under Alain Guingal's baton, a Verdi masterpiece : Macbeth. Since its creation in Firenze in 1847, this opera have been a great success thanks to a very dramatic libretto, perilous arias and a bit of supernatural.
Kevin Amiel will be Malcolm, son of the murdered king Duncan. He wants to take his revenge! A wonderful occasion to re-discover him in this Verdi repertoire, three years after his debuts as Gastone in Traviata in Opéra de Paris.
The lyrical season of young tenor Kevin Amiel is rich : he was Pâris in La Belle Hélène (Offenbach) in Marseille, Flavio in Norma (Bellini). He took part in the wonderful Opéra Comique production of Fantasio and will finish his season in Montpellier : Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) and La Nuit d'un neurasthénique (Rota).
