Canadian Soprano Magali Simard-Galdès just come back from Mexico where she gave a recital at Monterrey at the MexicoLiederfest with the pianist Olivier Godin. Now, she is at Charlotte (USA) where she will sing the role of Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac composed by David Dichiera (1935-) at the Opera Carolina (4 and 9 november 2017).
From Roxane to Eva, there is just an Ocean, as Magali will sing again this role in Dubois' Le Paradis perdu. After the concert in Montréal on May 2017, she will sing it this time at Tourcoing (France) under the baton of Jean-Claude Malgoire (24 and 26 november 2017).
Later in the season, she is invited again in France, where she will sing in a Charpentier/Vivaldi's concert with Scherzi Musicali at Avignon (december 2017). After that, she will sing the role of Mad Chorus in James Rolfeau at's The Overcoat de at Tapestry Opera - Toronto and Vancouver Opera (march-april 2018).
