Unanimously recognized for the Italian repertoire, the conductor Roberto Rizzi Brignoli confirms the rule this season with two productions of Nabucco (G. Verdi) in Berlin and Dijon, Turandot (G. Puccini) at the Opéra de Marseille, La Traviata (G. Verdi) and Il Turco in Italia (G. Rossini) in Hamburg, Il Trovatore (G. Verdi) in Mannheim.
This season starts with two productions of Nabucco (G. Verdi).
The first one, of which three performances have already been given in September, will be repeated in December at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. On this occasion, Roberto Rizzi Brignoli will conduct the Orchester der Deutschen Oper Berlin, and the staging is ensured by Keith Warner.
On November, it is the Opéra de Dijon (where we use to see him) who welcomes him for a version staged by Marie-Eve Signeyrole. This production was created at the end of last season at the Opéra de Lille and broadcast on Culturebox (which replay is still available).
