After the success of Musiques en fête, baritone Florian Sempey will be back to Chorégies d'Orange for an exceptional recital alongside pianist Jeff Cohen, on July 8 at 6 pm (Cour Saint-Louis).
This same venue will host a few days later (July 11 at 6 pm) mezzo Eva Zaïcik, for a recital of the 2016 winners of the ADAMI.
Not far from here, soprano Emmanuelle de Negri will perform Duparc's melodies with baritone Edwin-Crossley Mercer and pianist Edwige Herchenroder on July 1 at 9:30 pm; she will then give a series of concerts (Mozart's opera arias) with the Jeune Orchestre de l'Abbaye aux Dames, directed by William Christie, from July 21 to 23.
Also in Aix-en-Provence, young soprano Magali Simard-Galdès will participate in three concerts on July 10, 13 and 17, as part of the Académie du Festival d'Aix, before attending the opening concert of the Festival d'Opera de Québec, on July 24, at 8 pm.
Also in the south, soprano Amel Brahim-Djelloul will give in Arles the program "Poets and Poets of Al Andalus" with the ensemble Amedyez on July 12 at 7:30 pm, then will join the ensembles L'Achéron and Sultan Veled, to give the program "L'Orgue du Sultan" at the Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes, on July 21 at 10pm.
The Parisian region will not to be outdone, as bass Frédéric Caton will sing the title role of the Devin du Village of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, alongside the Nouveaux Caractères directed by Sébastien d'Hérin, at the Petit Trianon in Versailles, on July 1 and 2, at 8 pm.
Tenor François Rougier will continue his series of Carmen at the Opéra de Paris; he will sing the role of Remendado, until July 16.
Like the mezzo Isabelle Druet, who will play in the same prestigious house the role of Tisbe, in La Cenerentola, until July 8; she will then sing the program "Danza" in the company of Vincent Dumestre's Le Poème Harmonique on July 23 at 6:30 pm as part of the festival "Les Arts Jaillissants", as well as a recital of chamber music on July 29 at the "Festival des Arts "in Saint-Agrève.
Finally, baritone Levent Bakirci will sing the role of Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet by Gounod) alongside Jean-François Borras and the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, on July 7 at 19:30, at the Stadttheater in Ingolstadt.
