After the great success of The Barber of Seville premiere at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (Paris) on december 5th, Florian Sempey and Catherine Trottmann (photo) will sing again Figaro and Rosina roles, for the last two performances on this stage, on december 13 and 16. A concert version will be played on december 19 at the Konzerthaus Dortmund (Germany). More information here.

Back to Paris, still with Florian Sempey, but, this time, accompanied by the soprano Amel Brahim-Djelloul, the mezzo-soprano Isabelle Druet and the ténor Sébastien Droy. For this « Lyrical evening » they will be pleased to interpret greatest opera arias composed by Mozart, Donizzetti, Bizet, Offenbach or Verdi. This concert will take place on december, 14 at the Cathédrale Saint-Louis des Invalides.

Still on december 14, at the Chapelle Corneille in Rouen, Eva Zaïcik will sing in the program « Breve è la vita nostra » with the ensemble Le Poème Harmonique (Vincent Dumestre), the soprano Déborah Cachet, tenors Jeffrey and Sébastien Obrecht and the bass Geoffroy Buffière.

On his side, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro continue his « Festive December ». He will be on tour with Le Concert d’Astrée directed by Emmanuelle Haïm, and with the other soloists such as Emöke Baráth, Léa Désandre, Damien Guillon and Victor Sicard to sing in Dixit Dominus (Häendel) and in Magnificat (Bach). Several appointment are to be noted between december 11 and 16 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Aix-en-Provence, Arras, Luxembourd and Saint-Omer.
In the middle of the tour, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro will be in Toulon (église Saint-Paul) with Les Talens Lyriques (dir. Christophe Rousset) for the program « Noël Royal » composed of Charpentier’s works on december 14.
Finally, still with the soprano Emöke Baráth, he will propose the program « Rosa Mystica » with his ensemble I Gemelli on december 17 at the Church Bienheureuse Isabelle (Neuilly-sur-Seine, France).

On december 15 at L’Embarcadère (Aubervilliers, France), Jean-François Novelli will sing in Le Destin du Nouveau Siècle (A. Campra) with the ensemble La Tempesta directed by Patrick Bismuth, staging by Jean-Daniel Laval and choregraphy by Irène Ginger.

By the end of this year, we can also hear the tenor Kaëlig Boché in Bach’s Magnificat with Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu directed by Franck-Emmanuel Comte on december 16 at the Collégiale de Saint Donat, the 17 at the Church Saint-Laurent à Aubenas and the 18 and the 19 at the Grand Temple de Lyon.

In Avignon, Magali Simard-Galdès will perform in Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Pastorale sur la Nativité and in Vivaldi’s Gloria on december 16 at the Carmes Chuch. She will be accompanied by the mezzo-soprano Colline Dutilleul and the baritone Adrien Djouadou, the vocal ensemble Arcanes and the orchestra Scherzi Musicali directed by par Jean-Michel Montornès, staging by Jean-Luc Clairet.

To close this beautiful and rich 2017 year, Catherine Trottmann will be on the stage of the Kammermusiksaal der Philharmonie in Berlin with the Berliner Symphoniker, on december 31  for two concert and on january 1st 2018 in Bad Kissingen, for the traditional New Year’s Eve concert.
