This masterpiece is considered as the foundation of the Opera, Orfeo by Monteverdi is 410 years old! Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, conducting his Ensemble Cappella Mediterranea and the Choeur de Chambre de Namur, will for sure be able to give a new perspective to this music.
Mezzo Anna Reinhold will be Proserpina in this production, starting on May 16 in Rotterdam (and May 17 in Bozar-Brussels). There will be then several other European performances and a South-American tour in November.
In a totally different repertoire, Anna Reinhold will perform Pierrot Lunaire by Schönberg, with Marc Coppey, in Théâtre de la Ville (Paris) on May 14.
