Pelléas et Mélisande

The Malmö Opera in Sweden presents a new production of Pelléas et Mélisande by Claude DEBUSSY. The musical direction is ensured by Maxime PASCAL and directed by Benjamin LAZAR. This production is a collaboration with Baadischen Staadstheater Karlsruhe. In this production, and for his debut in Sweden, the French baritone Marc MAUILLON performs the role of Pelléas, the strange and penetrating hero from Claude Debussy.

This end of this season we can find Marc MAUILLON for two concerts alongside hir sister Angelique MAUILLON, ancient harp, in «Pien of amoroso affetto» program which has recently been recording.

The upcoming season, in September and October, he will interpret the main role in Orfeo by MONTEVERDI at Opera de Dijon, then he will play the role of Mercury in Orphée aux Enfers by OFFENBACH at Opera Angers-Nantes. To end the year 2016, he will give a recital «Songline» at the Peniche Opera.
