Renaud
Delaigue will perform as Frère Laurent.
Roméo et Juliette is a dramatic symphony composed by Berlioz. It is recognized as one of his best work. Influenced by Beethoven's 9th symphony and by the Shakespeare's drama, it tells the impossible love story in which The Saint Louis Symphony and Chorus will play together to let the magic of the love story set up. It will be conducted by Leonard Slatkin to conclude perfectly the Shakespeare Festival.
Besides Roméo et Juliette, we have the pleasure to listen to the impressive grave and the black stamp coal of Renaud Delaigue in the recital De profundis clamavi in Dijon with Les Traversées Baroques. Moreover, he will perform Haly in L'Italiana in Algeri conducted by Jean-Claude Malgoire in Tourcoing and in the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. He sings also with l'Ensemble Clément Janequin for several concerts in France and abroad including the hilarous show "Zanni! ", upon madrigalesques comedies.
