Séraphine Cotrez, welcome!

The mezzo soprano joins our artists!

A rare timbre and presence, this is what immediately strikes you when you discover Séraphine Cotrez, mezzo soprano freshly crowned with a Master's degree in singing from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMD).
After studying Applied Arts, she turned to music and trained, in addition to the CNSMD in Lyon, at the Universität der Künst in Berlin, in the classes of Julie Kaufmann and Peter Maus.
In 2018 the Opéra de Reims offered her the roles of Clorinde and Venus in Monteverdi's Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda and Il ballo delle ingrate, then it was the ensemble Les Paladins conducted by Jérôme Correas which, in 2019, offers her the role of Dardano (Handel's Amadigi) for a French tour at, among others theaters, the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, the Opéra de Massy and the Théâtre de l'Athénée in Paris.
You will have the opportunity to discover her on September 20th in Antibes, in Mozart's C Mass, alongside the Orchestre de Cannes Provence-Alpes- Côte d'Azur and bass-baritone Sévag Tachdjian!
