Soprano Sheva Tehoval joins our artists !

In the coming days, soprano Sheva Tehoval will be performing the premiere of Push, by Howard Moody, at the Théâtre Royal de La Monnaie in Brussels, meanwhile joining the artists of RSB Artists and we are very happy about it!

Daughter of a blues musician, she discovered classical music at the age of 6 when she joined the children's choirs of the Royal Opera of Brussels and continued her singing training with Eunice Arias in Brussels, Christoph Prégardien at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and Mary Nelson at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

She has already performed on numerous European stages (Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, Beethovenhaus in Bonn, Philharmonie in Cologne, Herkulessaal in Munich, Seine Musicale in Paris and Theater an der Wien) with prestigious ensembles and orchestras such as La petite bande, the SWR Rundfunkorchester, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Insula Orchestra...

In 2014 she won the 1st prize as well as the public prize at the Jacques Dôme Competition in Verviers, the 2nd prize at the Karlsruhe International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition and is laureate of the Queen Elisabeth International Competition (when she was, at 23 years old, the youngest candidate).

In 2016, she was awarded the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb, and won first prize in the opera category, first prize in the French melody category, the young hope prize and the audience prize at the Marmande International Singing Competition.
In 2017, she won first prize in the SWR Junge Operstars competition.
