Summer is starting well

with Isabelle Druet

After the success of Gianni Schicchi at the Opera Bastille where she sang La Ciesca, Isabelle Druet goes to the Summer Hour at les Nuits de Fourvière (Lyon).

On this occasion, she will perform again with Orchestre national de Lyon, this time with Berlioz's Les Nuits d'Eté on 28 and 29 June 2018, in a show created by Yaron Lifschitz with Circa. A beautiful way to celebrate summer!

The next season will be for Isabelle Druet synonymous with reunion. First at the Opéra de Paris, where she will sing again Tisbe in Cenerentola staging by Guillaume Gallienne. Then, she will sing the role of Baba La Turque in Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress at the Opéra de Nice in February 2019.

In addition, she will give new life to l'Heure Espagnole's Conception, which she recorded with the Orchestre national de Lyon, but this time under the direction of François-Xavier Roth; first with his orchestre Les Siècles with concerts in March 2019 in Aix-en-Provence, Grenoble and Evian-les-Bains, then with the London Symphony Orchestra in London in April 2019.

Finally, the best will be for the end with this long-awaited moment for 3 years, with the title role of Carmen which suits her so well and that she will find in June 2019 at the Opera of Saint-Etienne.

A nice season to come, but before that, let's enjoy the summer!
