After the last performances of Lemoyne's Phèdre at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, baritone Thomas Dolié joins the Komische Oper Berlin to perform the role of the High Priest Abramane in Zoroastre, the fourth lyrical tragedy of Jean-Philippe Rameau, created in 1749, in Paris.
Two superb roles following each other, for the one who is one of the most interesting French baritones of the moment, evidenced by his superb season, which had already started in Germany with his interpretation of Ramiro (L'Heure espagnole) at Oper Köln - a role that he will sing again at the Opéra de Paris next season - and which has seen him performing alongside the Musiciens du Louvre, the Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, Raphael Pichon at the Perm Opera as welle as Orfeo Zenekar.
To come this summer for Thomas Dolié: Handel's Messiah with Filharmonia Hungary in Budapest and the role of Farnace (Mitridate Eupatore) at the Beaune International Festival.
