Marc Mauillon

On tour in Europe

From August 20th to 23th août, barytone  Marc Mauillon (see photo) is at the Muzyka w Raju festival, at Paradyz (Poland), for several concerts, among other his solo recital: Songline, a monodic travel, alone, where singing is the only guide and allie across happinness research.

On August 30th, Marc Mauillon and the Ensemble La Rêveuse are at Utrecht Ancient music Festival, in Netherland. They present a very British program: three Purcell’s Psalms and Finger’s Divisions. In these three pieces, Purcell excels of invention, with dissonances used to figurate the text despair. The program is completed by virtuosos variations composed by Finger, musician of King Jacques II.

On September 5th, we find back Marc Mauillon with the Arpeggiata, under Christina Pluhar's direction. He is Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas.
