Young tenor Kevin Amiel debuts in the Opéra de Montpellier with two enchantress works : he is le Journaliste in L'Hirondelle inattendue (by Simon Laks) and takes part in Ravel's lyric fantasy : L'Enfant et les sortilèges.
Kevin Amiel is one of the most talented tenors of the new generation. This season, after his First Prices in two opera competitions (Béziers and Marmande), he makes his debuts at the Opéra national de Montpellier where he appears many times: in L'Hirondelle innatendue of Simon Laks (The Reporter), l'Enfant et les Sortilèges (la Théière, le petit Vieillard, la rainette et l’arithmétique), Geneviève de Brabant of Offenbach (Vanderprout le Bourguemestre) and also for the New Year's concert. He is also Gian Gianni in Milo et Maya, a new work by Matteo Franceschini at the Opéra de Rouen and Gastone in Traviata at the Opéra de Toulon. Kevin Amiel likes also concerts and recitals. He recently sung in Avignon the Rossini's Stabat Mater.
