Thomas Dolié will be this week in Paris to sing the Grands Motets by Rameau with le Concert Spirituel, under the baton of Hervé Niquet in Théâtre des Champs Elysées. Composed in 1723 by a very young Rameau, the Grands Motets became masterpieces, combining austerity and fineness.
Thomas Dolié is fond of this repertoire. He often collaborates with Hervé Niquet, as well as with Emmanuelle Haïm or Marc Minkowksi with whom he did his debuts on the stage. Let's not forget that the baryton is also very interested in contemporary repertoire. He often takes part in creations, in particular with l'Orchestre National de France.
Next season Thomas Dolié will meet again le Concert Spirituel in Persée by Lully. He will also perform as Ramiro in L'Heure Espagnole in Nantes, Il Comte in Le Nozze di Figaro (national tour with La Coopérative Opera) and will travel abroad to give recitals (first time in Canada).
