Welcome to Bruno de Simone!

The italian baritone joins our artists!

We are pleased to announce the beginning of our collaboration with Italian baritone Bruno de Simone!
Accustomed to the most important international stages (Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Maggio Musicale in Florence, Wiener Staatsoper, Opéra de Paris, Tokyo, Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Real in Madrid, Deutsche Oper and Staatsoper in Berlin...), Bruno de Simone is one of the most appreciated singer-actors on the international scene.

A disciple of Sesto Bruscantini, he quickly established himself as an ideal interpreter of the 18th and 19th century repertoire of Comic and Bel Canto (especially Rossini and Donizetti), or older, such as Galuppi, Pergolesi, Paisiello and Cimarosa, of which he is one of the most prolific performers.

His favourite roles include Don Bartolo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Don Magnifico (La cenerentola), Taddeo (L'Italiana in Algeri), title role of Don Pasquale, Dulcamara (L'elisir d'amore), the Conte (Le Nozze di Figaro), Ford as well as the title role of Falstaff, Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Leporello (Don Giovanni), but also Marcello and Schaunard (La Bohème), Lescaut (Manon Lescaut), the title role of Gianni Schicchi, Le Roi (L'amour des trois oranges de Prokofiev), Michonnet (Adriana Lecouvreur)...

Bruno de Simone will be performing at Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi di Trieste for L'Elisir d'Amore (as Dulcamara), then at Staatsoper Berlin for Il Barbiere di Siviglia (as Don Bartolo) in the coming weeks!
