Welcome to Edwin Fardini !

Young baritone joins RSB Artists

Last-year-student at the Conservatoire de Paris, Edwin Fardini is currently working with Elene Golgevit. In 2016, he is laureate of the Fondation de l’Abbaye de Royaumont and also of the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso whose his team and himself benefit the support for artistic research and exploration.

During masterclasses, he has the opportunity to enrich his musical education with masters like Thomas Quasthoff, Bernarda Fink and Regina Werner. He’s particularly fond of the mélodie, Lied and oratorio’s repertoires he likes to sculpt with pianists as Anne le Bozec or Susan Manoff, and the baritone Stephan Genz.

For the 2017 edition of the Académie du Festival d’art lyrique d’Aix- en-Provence, he took part in the Résidence Pinocchio supervised by Jeff Cohen and Ondrej Adamek. Moreover, he worked as a musical cover for the world creation of Philippe Boesmans and Joël Pommerat’s last opera.

Last November, at the Philharmonie de Paris, he sang with the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock. In recital, we heard him with Anne le Bozec, with Tanguy de Williencourt or Clément Mao-Takacs and his chamber orchestra at the Musée de l’Armée, the Théâtre de l’Athénée and the Festival Les Athénéennes of Geneva in very varied programs.

On December 2018, you will hear him in Ein deutsches Requiem of Johannes Brahms with the Webern Symphonie Orchester and the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris conducted by Patrick Davin at the Cathédrale Saint-Louis.
